They are now considered racist mockery and the PM was forced to apologize profusely when photos of him in blackface were uncovered. <br /><br />Drag shows feature men in womanface aping the dress, speech and mannerisms of women. While obviously sexist, such shows are "much watched" and "highly successful," and the PM is considered edgy and brave for appearing on them. Don't believe me on the sexism?
