A source in the emergency response team told me that Ottawa Police planned, then cancelled, at least one operation after discovering details may have been leaked to the occupiers. They suspected an officer who was on leave without pay for refusing to get vaccinated.

1/ "Divisiveness" is, as Emmett Macfarlane rightly points out, not of itself an argument against any policy. Leaving aside the fact that mandates command huge public support, If division were a disqualifying argument, we'd have no free trade agreements, no same-sex marriage, etc

Anything worth doing can be considered divisive. Bringing in Medicare in SK resulted in a doctor's strike. It was a divisive issue. Divisive is a code word I have heard in the church for not wanting to ordain women or not allowing clergy to perform same sex marriages.
