I threw up a little in my mouth when I heard this, but Jeremy Hanson knows Trump loves being thanked by big strong men with tears in their eyes, so his words of gratitude and solidarity are positive and politic:

A) Trump definitely has not given up on annexing Canada, but B) I find the idea him *thinking* we are ruled by a king (realistically not the case, he's a figurehead) as a reason he would back off a bit entirely consistent. The real conflict is between oligarchy/autocracy and democracy.... #CDNpoli

It always surprises me that so many people misunderstand "MAID" when just about every family has experienced the grief of watching a loved one die a needlessly-painful death. Carlson is one of those who thinks no one has the right to control their own body.
However, maybe his idiocy isn't going to influence Trump because right now Carlson is also talking trash to Trump over that insulting Truth Social "Praise Be To Allah" post. These MAGA cat=fights couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch.
