NDP leadership woes

So Saskatchewan NDP leader Cam Broten has resigned after losing his seat, and federal NDP leader Tom Mulcair was voted out - though apparently he still wants to hang around embarrassing the party for the next two years until they finally elect a new leader.

Not sure what happened to Cam Broten, but the NDP's constant fearmongering by their unionized govt employees about govt-run liquor stores being sold and customers being able to get liquor from private sources is old news. Every place that has private alcohol sold in other places where you can buy food (one stop shopping) has lower prices and better variety. Broten's constant screaming at Premier Wall during the debate didn't help either.

As for the federal NDP, with their extreme LEAP program (doesn't that sound familiar?), they should just drop their mask and join the Communist Party. Gerald Butts' - oops - Trudeau's Liberal Party has veered far left and now occupies what the Federal NDP used to claim.

Muclair was tone deaf by calling for oil and gas production to be shut down during their convention held in....Alberta!

Anyone in this day and age who is for oil and bitumen pipelines, given the number of leaks and spills that happen far too often has less than the brain capacity of a dinosaur. Keep the crap in the ground.

Anyone who claims that oil is bad, while writing on its computer or smart phone which is made from oil, has the shoe of a clod and a brain to match.

Anyone who assumes that plastics have to be made from oil is thicker than a bucket of tar sand.

Anyone who thinks wind mills and solar energy can replace what oil provides for society is as ignorant as Tom Mulcair. You know, the guy who claimed he could balance the budget whilst introducing a federal childcare program, a nationalized pharmaceutical program, a federal minimum wage of $15/hour, higher corporate taxes and the elimination of interest rates on student loans.

Get off your computer and the internet if you are against oil!

Tonight, Manitoba's long 16 year nightmare ended, with the NDP getting turfed by a majority PC party.

I was thrilled to see that racist Princess Nahanni Fontaine lose. If I want to be called a racist and accused of committing genocide, I can always turn on the APTN channel.

I actually turned on the CBC this evening to watch the news. Beautiful, just beautiful watching all those glum faces, including the applicable Marxist university professor (as always seen in Canadian news), and the greedy Indian on the panel. They are fearful that their life of living off the taxpayer will be curbed.
Get a job and contribute to society? Racist! Genocide! Residential schools!
Professor: Work 40 hrs a week with only 3 or 4 weeks off during the year?! No!!! I've got students and taxpayers to screw!

Another bonus watching CBC news tonight was seeing them choke on the Republican results of the NY state primary: Trump winning 89 of 92 delegates.

CBC was upset with tonight's results (Manitoba election & NY state Republican primary), but not as upset as they were when their hero Saddam Hussein fell. Or when the Iraqis got to vote in an actual election. The CBC was furious at the two latter instances!

Even more glum faces on the CBC today upon hearing the news that every single one of the 31 charges against Mike Duffy were thrown out by the judge. Apparently paying back 90K to the taxpayers that was owed is NOT the Scandal of the Century!
