Don't make me laugh

Once again following along with the Harper Con agenda, the Globe and Mail is "reporting" that Trudeau's spending promises are "under more scrutiny":
Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau is coming under mounting pressure to spell out just how his campaign spending promises would add up.
Yeah, sure.
The Liberals announced their spending and budget plans weeks ago; if the media hasn't scrutinized them until now (too busy focusing the election on Muslims like Harper wanted them to) then this isn't Justin's fault.
The only pressure that Justin is coming under right now is from the panicked Harper Cons, who are throwing money away trying to halt Liberal momentum.

"Trudeau's spending promises under scrutiny." Give me a break. This from a newspaper who says nothing when Harper talks about how deficits are wrong after have 6 deficits in a row. This from a newspaper who says nothing about the damage to jobs his austerity program has caused. This fronm a newspaper who is completely silent about Harpers Neoliberalism and how far he has advanced it. They've given Harper a pass on everything, including his most vile behaviour. They'd rather attack Trudeau. After all he's winning.

That reminds me. Does anyone else find it weird that the Globe is clearly a right-of-centre rag, but its comments seem to be dominated by left-of-centre people who hate Harper, while the Toronto Star is definitely a liberal (and probably Liberal) rag, but its comments are full of racist spewing Harperbots?

Hmmm, interesting observation.
My husband does a lot of online commenting on news stories, and he says recently when he posts something anti-Harper, he gets several immediate "thumbs down" responses. So he thinks there are Harperbots who troll the comment sections to defend their lord and master.

PM Harper has eliminated the deficit despite the 2007/8 fiscal crisis - Justin Trudeau wants more debt. PM Harper did not eliminate the deficit the way the Liberals did (by dumping the problem on the provinces and raiding the federal pension surpluses), he eliminated the deficit through federal cuts to spending.
He did this by reducing taxes on working Canadians and businesses that provide jobs. He also did this despite Ontario's stupid policies that are jacking up energy costs and driving manufacturing from the province.
