perhaps we ought to do a bit more manufacturing in our home countries. It would be nice to buy tooth paste, mouth wash and shampoo made in Canada once again. All the major brands are made in china these days. Smaller brands are made in Canada but many families find them too expensive. On the other hand they support Canadian workers and you know what you're getting.
If you look at the major toothpaste companies, etc. you will find the headquarters address and that is it. Not where it is made unless it comes out of the U.S.A, Mexico, Germany. It would appear some of these companies like Crest, Colgate might be ashamed they are making their products in China instead of at home.
Another way to find out where an item is made, the prices are about the same when they were made in North America as they are now in China, but when they go on sale, the prices really take a big dive, so you can image how much we are being ripped off as consumers. Not on sale, an item might be over $3. On sale, 99 cents--when you can't see where its made. when an item is made in North America or Germany, they may go on sale, but not with the price drop you see on items made in China.
