Pathetic nonsense

The Harper Cons are trying to spin their loss in Labrador as negative for Trudeau. How pathetic is that?

The Conservatives who are trying to spin that this is no big deal because well, majority governments don't often win byelections and well, the Liberals didn't win it by as much as one poll said they would a few weeks ago so really Trudeau messed things up and this is a sign he is in over his head, is just nonsense and kind of smacks of sore losership.

Beyond that is the FACT that most incumbent majority gov'ts WIN bye-elections - particularly in a Cabinet Minister's riding.

The REAL issue here is WHY the election was called in the first place. Anyone remember?

Steve said Penashue was "the best MP Labrador ever had" and gave him a free election do-over after he was busted for campaign finance finangling.

Penashue dropped 334 votes this time compared to his last election in 2011, while Lib MP Yvonne Jones gained 1,637 more votes than the Lib who ran in 2011.

Steve is obviously in over his head.

Well obviously its a win for the Libs, given they won, duh, thier is a point to the Tories made.

And that is Trudeaumania played no part, this was a rejection of the Penashue, not love for Justin.

The Trudeau bounce disappeared and the Liberals ended up with 48 percent in a riding where under Dion they got 70%. In fact it was only Penashue's popularity that won him the traditionally Liberal riding in the first place, which he barely took. With the scandal his popularity died.

So why did the Liberals not do as well as polls expected? The NDP retained its vote instead of it draining off to Justin. Which shows that Trudeaumania had no effect, just punishment for the Tories along with personal popularity of Jones.

Spin spin spin, Anon.
And because the Toronto Maple Leafs forced their series to a Game 7, when everyone expected Boston to win earlier, means that Boston really lost this series and the Leafs are moving on...oh, wait...

Pathetic spin. The Libs got 70% in that riding when their leader was the moronic university professor Stephie Dion.

And they got 48% under the leadership of The Shiny Pony. It is a big difference, even if you round off pi to the nearest 'decibel'
