On to Game 7 - "Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more" #WantItAll

Henry V - to the troops:
Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more
.................show us here
The mettle of your pasture; let us swear
That you are worth your breeding; which I doubt not;
For there is none of you so mean and base,
That hath not noble lustre in your eyes.
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'
Here are the Game 6 lowlights - the Jays had their chances, but it wasn't to be:

It was an odd game, really

The wall screwed the Jays. #WorldSeries #GoJaysGo

What an unlucky pair of events to lose the game to. Obviously the baseball gods wanted a Game 7. #BlueJays #wantitall

Love the Jays manager & players in the interviews after that tough ending. Zero negativity, page immediately turned, confident and joyous even about playing a huge Game 7 at home. “Two best words in sports. Game 7.” Get it tomorrow, boys. The whole country is behind you. #TeamCanada #GoJaysGo

Never heard of a dead ball. The Blue Jays would have won. Hopefully tonight.

It was (alas) certainly the correct call. Ground-rule-double.

"If a batter hits a drive to the outfield that bounces over the fence, the ball is out of play. The umpire will call timeout and award the batter second base for a ground-rule double."

And had it bounced back into the field, there is no guarantee either way: points scored or double out.

On to game 7 .... in Jays we trust!

I read a tweet that said the LA fielder won the game by NOT touching the ball.
I just couldn't bear to post that! But it was real heads-up baseball. I guess its not the only time it has happened, but its the only time ever at such a crucial moment.
