Trump posting crazy stuff today about Carney and tariffs, plus an ICU nurse shot by the ICE Gestapo in Minneapolis, and Governor Walz calling out the National Guard to protect his people.

A totalitarian lie: “Videos analyzed by The New York Times contradict the accounts of Homeland Security officials, who said that the man approached Border Patrol agents with a handgun and the intent to “massacre” them. Footage of the encounter shows the man was holding a phone in his hand, not a gun, when federal agents took him to the ground and shot him.” The crisis is not simply that the federal government is creating a domestic paramilitary force that can kill people with impunity, but that it will blatantly lie on every occasion - even when the lie is contradicted by video evidence - to justify any obscenity the force commits. There is not even a pretense that the truth matters. Truth is what Trump says it is. Period. Even if it means murdering US citizen dissenters in cold blood and pretending they were an “assassin” bent on a “massacre”. Beyond chilling.
