Every time Trump refers to Canada and Canadians as difficult, it warms my heart and makes me feel a little warm and fuzzy 😂. That’s the thing they don’t get about Canadians and Canada. We’re nice to a point, but if you screw with us, we are petty as fuck.

More on that great Ontario ad - which DID play again on Fox during game 2 of the world series. Here's a fascinating thread:

Trump is mad about a (completely factual) TV ad that Ontario aired because he thinks it's an attempt to sway the tariff case before the Supreme Court... ... leading him to announce an additional 10% tariff on Canada ... something that is definitely going to come up in the Supreme Court case

Him reacting by capriciously increasing tariffs out of anger and resentment, not out of any emergency (economic or otherwise), makes the plaintiffs' case way more effectively than a Canadian TV ad ever could
