Today's News: But the accountants never will

I found twitter to be in a bit of a lull today. 

Proclaiming the Emergencies Act gave us expectations that the FluTruxKlan will be arrested, broke or out of gas pretty soon, even as Tucker Carlson lost his mind. 

Chief Sloly resigned in Ottawa, thereby ending the public humiliation of one of the most inept public servants I have ever seen. 

The Coutts blockade and the other border convoys melted away as people realized there could be some expensive consequences to their yahoo behaviour. 

The hack of the trucker donation site provided lots of opportunity to investigate who has been stupid enough to support the grifters.

Luke warm take: if the increased regulatory scrutiny of protest financing ends this (and I think it might), it will be the most perfectly boring YOW outcome possible. Come at Ottawa, and we will Canada Gazette Part I you into submission.

Most don’t really understand the Emergencies Act and think the government has seven days to act. (Parliament needs to vote after seven days.) So they think the end is soon. (It might be?)

What Canadians were asking themselves today was, why did it take so long?

Likely they are now afraid of the financial penalties Freeland will be imposing on them.

Just as a last thing: The Windsor action was orders of magnitude easier. They had less resources, less infrastructure, fewer people. You're talking about 50 people with some vehicles (where police had to arrest 25-30) vs. a crowd of 1,000-2,000 with a ton of vehicles.

The "leaders" of this occupation have not only demanded all COVID-related mandates end but have also demanded Justin Trudeau's resignation AND have officially offered to form a coalition party with two other currently elected parties. That is an attempt to overthrow democracy.
