Has America finally reached its gag limit with Trump?

I try to ignore just about everything Trump babbles.
But tonight he is quoted by activist and former Labour Secretary Robert Reich in a post titled Trump is out of his mind, and desperate
At a rally today outside the Dayton International Airport in Vandalia, Ohio, Trump warned that “if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a blood bath … for the country.”
He also warned that if he didn’t win, “I don’t think you’re going to have another election, or certainly not an election that’s meaningful.”
In the rest of the speech he repeated his false claims that the 2020 election was stolen, which have been utterly discredited.
He praised the people serving sentences in connection with the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the Capitol — calling them “hostages” and “unbelievable patriots,” commending their spirit, and promising to help them if elected in November.
He cast migrants as threats to American citizens — claiming without evidence that other countries were emptying their prisons of “young people” and sending them across the border. “I don’t know if you call them ‘people,’ in some cases,” he said. “They’re not people, in my opinion.” He later referred to them as “animals.”
Trump is clearly desperate. He knows that his future freedom and his fortune both depend on winning in November. He has no qualms about turning Americans against Americans to achieve this goal. Apparently he is even willing to fuel violence, a second civil war.
Wow!
And finally -- FINALLY -- that "bloodbath" remark seems to have triggered America's gag reflex.
I'm seeing tweets and columns about it all over.
Even from former VP and Iraq War instigator Dick Cheney

And coming from Dick Cheney, that's saying something.
Americans are already afraid:
Most of his Cabinet won't support him again: Tonight I think even MAGA realized Trump had gone too far. So they started chattering about how he didn't REALLY threaten the whole country with a bloodbath, not really for real -- he was actually only threatening the American auto industry with a bloodbath, not everybody!
Yeah because if there is one thing Trump is known for, its the precision of his language! Also, his nuance!
Oh, sure:
America knows a call to arms when they hear it, and they know what they just heard:

I'm glad you included that last video clip, because it's clear from the context that Trump's "bloodbath" remark refers to the American auto industry, not some general threat of violence. Taking remarks out of context reflects badly on the person who does it, and we complain when Biden or Trudeau are the victims of this dishonesty.

I don't know why anyone would bother with Trump, because even in context, his remarks don't get much better. He's saying that American workers can't compete with Chinese autoplants in Mexico, and that he'd ignore the USMCA free trade agreement he himself renegotiated! What a clown!

I could go along with the total car deal except
it was
(100% tariff on chinese cars}
If I get elected (ok)
Now... If I don't get elected that will be a bloodbath for the whole ... (tariff on cars are) that's gonna be the least(car tariff) of it
It gonna be a bloodbath for the country ....that's (car tariff) going to be the least of it.

So to me mexican chinese car tariffs will look like the least of it in comparison to the whole country bloodbath.
When they tell you who they are believe them.

Agree, lungta - for years, Trump has skated around his crazy remarks, but all of his MAGA followers know exactly what he wants them to do. Its going to be scary for the next year, I think. I just hope Biden will come through.

People can not be counted upon to vote in their own best interest, so lets not count Trump out. He has brought Manafort and gang back for his campaign. In various parts of the U.S.A. election officials have refused to certify votes in various elections. Its a warm up to the one later this year.
Warsaw, Poland is spending 30M on building bomb shelters in the city. they know when Trump comes into office the American military will no longer be there for NATO. When Ukraine falls due to a lack of ammunition, Poland will be next. At least they are smart enough to know what happened last time there was a large war. Canada is cutting the military's budget, when we ought to be investing in our military. At least half a trillion is required to adequately pay the military and buy new equipment.
