Sunday Funday: Another crazy week for America, some #ETTD and TrumpWatch. Plus some other funny stuff that is NOT about politics, and of course, Animal Crackers

It's been another crazy week
Day by day the United States is swirling down the drain. The US economy is going to collapse under the global retaliation for Trump's ridiculous tariffs plus the ICE Gestapo's enormous waste of people and resources.
They're spending millions militarizing their cities and they're likely going to go to war with Venezuela. Canada is trying to avoid getting sucked down into the maelstrom with them.

And how is that going, you ask?

And about that Kennedy hearing:

I heard a MAHA woman complain that most of the vaccines for babies were for diseases she’d never even heard of. Yeah do you know why you haven’t heard of them

I thought this was an interesting development too - they're calling it "soft secession":

This is a soft secession

TrumpWatch - posts about the most world's most anticipated event.
After last weekend's extravaganza, I didn't find too many TrumpWatch posts this week, but here's two good ones:

Interesting:

Since 2003, Chen Si has spent nearly every weekend patrolling the Yangtze River Bridge in Nanjing, a structure tragically known for su:cide attempts. Wearing a red volunteer vest with the words “cherish life every day,” he walks the bridge up to 10 times a day, watching for signs of distress, slumped shoulders, aimless wandering, heavy posture, and gently intervenes before it’s too late. According to SCMP, Chen has saved 469 lives in over 21 years, often by simply talking to people, listening to their pain, and offering hope. In one case, he helped a girl who couldn’t afford university by raising over 10,000 yuan with friends. In another, he told a woman betrayed by her husband, “If the sky falls, I’ll be your big brother and hold it up for you”. Chen’s work goes beyond the bridge. He’s used his own savings to help people find housing, buy food, and rebuild their lives. His story was even turned into a documentary titled Angel of Nanjing, capturing the quiet heroism of one man who decided that every life was worth saving

Animal Crackers:

Beavers pause while chewing trees to listen for movements so that the tree doesn't fall on them.
