Does anyone else remember our dysfunctional parliament this spring?Canadian media: “But her emails!” = “Why did Trudeau call this election?” pic.twitter.com/tfbBl56pSI

Today's good news:But why did Trudeau call an election? Because the Cons were filibustering to prevent laws like banning conversion therapy. And why? Perhaps because their base likes the idea of terrorizing LGBT youth? #LiberalMajority #cdnpoli #Elxn44 https://t.co/CXOaP1BWKQ

I believe, from my latest results , that the LPC will win the election . I think I mentioned this some time ago but I now think it is by far the most likely outcome . you are welcome

Breaking: Liberal/Trudeau Gov Economic Recovery Plan is Working! 3rd consec month new jobs exceed expectations. Only about 150,000 fewer employed now than pre-pandemic. Pre-pandemic we had lowest unemployment in 40 years...

More about the English debate:Deciding climate change response via economics is like driving your car from inside the engine compartment. You might keep everything running great, but you'll have no idea where you're going.

Meanwhile I watched Anita Anand get bloodied by the CPC & media week in & out over vaccines, Trudeau stayed out & let her run the file.
Patty Hajdu withstood months of attacks without a hand from Trudeau..
The difference is O'Toole lied, Trudeau told the truth and O'Toole was forced to amend his own written platform (which is now even more nonsensical on guns). Very few journalists have called out this blatant Conservative lie about a nonexistent home tax. #Elxn44 https://t.co/c2r6PjVbCr

Are we all just going to pretend that over 100 long term boil advisories haven't been lifted, with more work ongoing to lift the rest?
— John Mark Taylor (@jmt_18325) September 10, 2021
Why would anyone ever try to do anything with this level of cynicism?
The only reason you are watching this debated is because of Justin Trudeau.
— kris meloche (@krismeloche) September 10, 2021
While they attack him.
It hasn't been perfect but the Trudeau government has been the only one to at least listen and TRY to make amends. We all know the Cons will close the door on Indigenous ppl and the NDP would only use them for internet clicks. The Greens are nowhere on the radar.

I guess I'm deeply impressed that some leaders think Canada should have been able to make the 2020 GHG target with actions taken after October 2015.
— Aaron Wherry (@AaronWherry) September 10, 2021
I look forward to hearing how.
Canadian politics can turn on a dime sometimes.O'Toole just explained that he lowered carbon targets so they would be easier to hit. #Debate2021 #Elxn44

And as the Advance Polls open, here is this good take:In effect he stands to divide the nationalist vote between CPC and BQ/ not necessarily the worse outcome for Libs. https://t.co/jnKgUOzHuS

I am voting for @JustinTrudeau and the @liberal_party for an unusual reason.
— Dr. Matthew S. Johnston (@mattjohnstonca) September 10, 2021
Not because I have an idealist hope in them.
Not because I am trying to punish another party or leader.
But because they actually earned my vote with their record and vision.
Unusual, I know.#cdnpoli
