At a press conference in England, Carney made it clear he isn't going to put up with disrespect from anyone.
Not from Trump:
At a time when countries seem increasingly timid for fear of offending Don Trump, it is refreshing and invigorating to see our Prime Minister setting his own course.
And Carney isn't putting up with any disrespect from anyone else either.
Also at this press conference, Carney told Rosemary Barton and, by extension, the rest of the Canadian media, that he isn't going to put up with the hectoring and fault-finding and bad faith smears that Trudeau put up with for the last decade, and that ultimately drove him out of politics.
Remember all this crap?
Remember Aga Khan and SNC-Lavalin and WE Charity and Trudeau's mom and Jody Wilson-Raybould and surfing in BC and the Pierre Elliot Trudeau Foundation and the Emergencies Act and applauding Hunka and Chinese election interference and Modi being insulted etc etc etc?
And the only thing ever "proven" against Trudeau was that he wore blackface at a party 20 years ago.
Well, Carney isn't having it and he basically said so on Monday: And if Barton "finds it hard to believe" that Carney doesn't have any conflicts of interest in his financial investments now because they are all already in a blind trust, well, tough:.

PP wants to cancel the CBC. Then you listen to Rosie and kind of agree with him. Again with the CBC. Last night Grenier was eager to talk about the polls numbers from a month ago , not what's going on today. Is he trying to make himself irrelevant?
At one time the CBC was an honest news source but as Rosie says " it's hard to believe" now.
Finally someone puts R. Barton down.
Perhaps we should refer to her and much of the current CBC news crew (like Ian Handsomemanthing ;-) ) as 'self-hating CBC journalists '?
Liking Carney more and more.
"About that" don't forget Andrew Chang. I turn the channel as soon as he comes on.
