Pierre Poilievre is ignoring calls to disavow a far-right extremist identified as a national security threat.
— PressProgress (@pressprogress) August 21, 2022
Poilievre’s spokesperson mocked the media after the leadership candidate shook hands with a man flagged in a counterterrorism report.https://t.co/6YO1Fn2Qbq #cdnpoli
The Conservative Party and Pierre Poilievre don't have to endorse white supremacy - White Supremacy endorses them.
— G McThink ☮ (@redsnoopy69) August 21, 2022
Singh knows how important it is for politicians to denounce violent extremists:Just so I understand this correctly - Pierre Poilievre wants the top job in the country but is blissfully unaware of meeting face to face with a high profile national security risk?
— Dean from Winnipeg (@Dean_Winnipeg) August 21, 2022
He’s just not ready.
Maybe Mr. Poilievre didn’t know who he was shaking hands with.
— Jagmeet Singh (@theJagmeetSingh) August 21, 2022
But he does now.
Will he denounce Jeremy Mackenzie and Diagolon - designated as violent extremists by Canada’s Integrated Terrorism Assessment Centre?
Or will he continue to wink at white supremacy?
Conservatives try to "whatabout" the Poilievre handshake. Another Con Fail!A pretty simple statement that he didn’t recognize the guy and abhors what he and his organization stand for would go a long way. The fact that Poilievre’s campaign hasn’t issued one speaks volumes. https://t.co/Cog3wNKCvW

Another Nelson moment -- Trump apparently can't find a lawyer who is willing to take stuff to court for him, so he's doing stream-of-consciousness statements and sending them in himself. The Conservative leader took terrorists out for a pizza dinner, spare me your concern about what you think the liberals do. pic.twitter.com/azbDcqTkKe
— Rob Gill (@vote4robgill) August 21, 2022
Trump just filed a lawsuit requesting appointment of a Special Master. @SpiroAgnewGhost called the filing a dumpster fire of imbecility. @emptywheel said it wasn't even written by "grown up lawyers."
— Duty To Warn π (@duty2warn) August 22, 2022
Par for the course, when your whole team suffers from Dunning-Kruger syndrome.
NEW: Trump’s utterly deranged statement just released 2 minutes ago re: his dumpster fire of a lawsuit is of course even crazier and dumber than the lawsuit itself. Its really hard to believe any of this is real anymore. He belongs in a strait jacket. pic.twitter.com/ywCme3PdF0

And Twitter is ON IT!I'm sure that's mostly correct, you can tell because it's written like a bad comic book with random self-congratulatory anecdotes...

"one of the FBI agents said, 'Thank you. You did not need to show us the storage room, but we appreciate it. Now it all makes sense.'"
"Counsel approached, her black belts of all known martial arts barely visible under her sheer gown. She pulled a well concealed AR-15 out her thigh high boots and cocked it throwing her head back far. 'We defend the president and all what's his against EVERYONE' she whispered."
— Sparty (@margot42157869) August 22, 2022
Breaking! Donald Trump said that he’ll file a lawsuit against the FBI for stealing five boxes of Trump steaks from his residence and having a barbecue.
— Captain Obvious (@TheFungi669) August 21, 2022
He claims it was an illegal steak out.
The good ship Trump is going down and the last words will be, "your honor, I object."
— Alexander Mann (@AlexanderMannX1) August 22, 2022
Saul Goodman might be available now!One thing about Trump's document is that it's filed as a separate action without complying with most of the rules for a separate complaint, but styled as a motion, without following most of the rules for motions. To be fair there is no rule governing a Youtube comment.

The Unroll is here. Ending tweets are pretty good:Trump-Russia a hoax? Except for the part where candidate Trump publicly beseeched Russian intelligence to purloin and publish his opponent's emails - and then Russia intelligence immediately did so. 1/x
— David Frum (@davidfrum) August 22, 2022
I think the GOP stampede to the exits is getting underway:Trump-Russia a hoax? Except for the part where Trump's own top security aides almost unanimously agree he'd have tried to withdraw from NATO in a second term, abandoning eastern Europe to Putin.

END FOR NOW.

and this was the response:We are demanding an explanation from federal Minister Guilbeault on why his department is trespassing on private land without the owners’ permission to take water samples from dugouts.
— Scott Moe (@PremierScottMoe) August 21, 2022
Read Minister Cockrill’s letter below: https://t.co/Tu4AvbGTR6
My Premier is mad about dugout water sampling, but still won’t meet with us former students in the biggest case of child abuse in #Saskatchewan schools, outside of Residential Schools. (Schools that were closed, tho Moe said “we don’t do that”) #LegacyOfAbuse #skpoli
— SaskCate (@CateSask) August 22, 2022
So on Monday, we heard this:Good morning to everyone except folks who think that a federal water tester stepping on private property is a bigger scandal than a government covering decades of physical and sexual abuse at private Christian schools they force us to fund at metaphorical gunpoint.

On Tuesday, I expect they'll announce that everybody gets a new car!!!!This fall, our government will be sending a $500 affordability cheque to everyone in Saskatchewan aged 18 and older.

In 2006 a high school English teacher asked students to write to a famous author & ask for advice.

Kurt Vonnegut was the only one to respond.
His reply was a doozy. pic.twitter.com/ozZjFXRDQE

Hilarious that the Cons claim they don't know who comes to their little KKK rallies, they're known for checking to see who attends. Harper had individuals thrown out of his political rallies because they attended other parties' rallies, even at a provincial level Carmya Sad was refused entry to a Con event.
The growth in PP is amazing. From one of the Boys in Short Pants to a Proud Boy.
mr perfect
Thanks for the comment - yes, they know very well who is attending and the signals they are sending.
