The nasty politics of the "real Pierre Poilivrer".
— Lorne Nystrom (@LorneNystrom) September 15, 2022
This is what he did to one of his own high profile MPs who dared support his opponent @JeanCharest_
What would this nasty bare knuckes guy do to you?@HazelEros @gtlem @MerlinofCanada @jacklasalle1https://t.co/E6ThYqiSje
There hasn’t even been an election and Pierre Poilievre is already losing seats π
— Dean from Winnipeg (@Dean_Winnipeg) September 13, 2022
Even when Poilievre and the Conservatives do try to sort-of apologize, its just so stupid that its unbelievable.Sore winner.
— Greg MacEachern (@gmacofglebe) September 14, 2022
Next, the unbelievable:What happens when a Conservative MP disagrees with PP and decides to leave the party?

The “Conservative” Party of Canada goes all out war on you! π#cdnpoli pic.twitter.com/Tn5ZcbIf6U
After yesterday's tut-tutting at David Akin's "unseemly interruption" of a Poilievre press conference, Canadian media have now realized whose side they really should be on.π Ώ️ierre π Ώ️oilievre doubles down & blames an automated text that was sent out to constituents of Richmond-Arthabaska demanding MP @AlainRayes resign was all by accident.
— Jaro Giesbrecht π¨π¦πΈπ° (@JaroGiesbrecht) September 15, 2022
Nobody believes you automated BS cover up story @PierrePoilievre.
Irresponsible leadership & its only day 2! https://t.co/V4TgdcJLie
Even the Conservative "back-room" boys are worried about this guy:A presser with NO questions or just 2 questions from those who don't challenge answers, is not a presser. It's propaganda. It's 1984. It's Horse Shit. And I don't care whether it's Poilievre doing that or Trudeau. The Media is not there to leave chocolates on your pillow https://t.co/VDSh5l3nMW

Turning to other news today, the Republicans in America are revealing their True Colours as well.Kory Tenenyck says on PnP with Vassy Kapelos that Pierre Poilievre's gonna need to get a grip on his quick responses and anger with media..
— kris meloche (@krismeloche) September 14, 2022
Signaling that Poilievre is now going to be handled a little tighter, no more fly off the handle cowboy sound bites..
Ya, good luck..lol
this is becoming basically a form of GOP human trafficking at this point https://t.co/ygha4SYjRl

And today we also found out that in Mississippi, its apparently quite OK to take millions from poor people and give it to millionaire quarterbacks as long as the media doesn't find out about it:Love this Martha’s Vineyard high schooler, hopping off YouTube and running to the rescue https://t.co/2OvVKWLKwP pic.twitter.com/m53DNPp5M1
— Amanda Katz (@katzish) September 15, 2022
So let me understand this right, the former Republican Gov of Mississippi Phil Bryant, multimillionaire Brett Favre and others made a scheme to funnel nearly $5M in welfare funds to build a new volleyball stadium at a college that Favre’s daughter played at? That is a crime yes?
— Ricky Davila (@TheRickyDavila) September 13, 2022
So let me get this straight. Colin @Kaepernick7 can have a peaceful solemn protest by taking a knee to protest police brutality of Blacks, and he’s banished from the @NFL forever. @BrettFavre can illegally rip off MILLIONS from poor people and he’s WELCOMED by the NFL? #TakeAKnee

In other news, Ukraine is winning this war!Another evil and hypocritical move by today's grifting Republicans. Conservatives complain constantly about those on welfare scamming the system just because they need help, and #BrettFavre stealing their money is so evilly greedy and hypocriticalAF. π‘#Disgraceful

Canadian agriculture is taking advantage of a good growing season and stepping up to the plate:The city of Izium was liberated as Ukrainian troops reclaimed broad swaths of the south and east in a long-anticipated counter-offensive.

With Russians troops gone, it has become easier to assess the extent of devastation caused by the intense fighting. https://t.co/yUk3tOWsyc pic.twitter.com/IyVxZmAdbB
Moving on, we're following the new Lord of the Rings pre-quel.Six months ago I wrote about whether Canada might play a role in alleviating a looming global food crisis: https://t.co/uIclCi7xEn

These latest numbers suggest it has, indeed, managed to massively ramp up production. https://t.co/527tOqlAwZ
This, from John Cole:Anyways, yeah they are mad about black hobbits. Any time they see someone not white it makes them mad. That’s the extent of it. They just work backwards to justifying that.

And finally, just for Cap, here's a tweet that relates to his comment for my last post about pens:But how we gonna subjugate women otherwise, John ?
— Joshua (Fahrvergnugen) (@Joshua86762349) September 15, 2022
Eventually you have to accept that no matter how many different notebooks you buy, they won’t make you a better writer. For that, you need to spend a lot of money on the right pen.

Thanks for the last tweet, Cathie. Davies is partly right, you need to spend a lot of money on a pen. πBut if you do, you can't go scratching out your fine thoughts in cheap notebooks. Fountain pen ink bleeds on cheap paper and becomes hard to read. So, you need to go big or go home on notebooks too. None of that Hilroy crap - Clairefontaine, Rhodia, and Tomoe River are where it's at. Then, even if what you've written is no good, at least it'll look good.
Cap
Glad you saw it, Cap!
And thanks for the notebook recommendations, too.
